Upload the GPX from your watch and the route you actually took is drawn on the map. Add the event, the date and the time as the words, then have it printed on paper, canvas or metal.

How to map your route.
Upload the GPX
Export the activity from Garmin, Strava, Apple Health or whatever recorded it, and drop the file into the Journey step. The track appears on the map as a line, exactly where you went.
Or draw it
Without a file, press Draw a route on the Journey step and click along the course: the start, each turn, the finish. From the second click the line follows the roads from one point to the next, so a course you know by heart takes a minute to lay down.
Add the words
Two dozen themes, every colour of which you can change. The title, the subtitle and the coordinates are yours to write: the event, the date, the finish time, the bib number.
Feel the climb.
A flat map does not show what the hills cost you.
The 2.5D relief print builds the real elevation of the land onto the board in layers of UV varnish, so the climbs on your route stand up under your finger. Turn the 3D preview before it is made. Relief prints are made in our own workshop in England and posted within the UK.
A gift for a runner or a rider.
For an Ironman finisher, a first marathon or a charity ride: their route, their time and their date on a print they can hang. Flat prints come on heavy matte paper or Hahnemühle German etching paper, framed if you like, on stretched canvas, or on aluminium dibond or acrylic. Design it here and it is posted to them, tracked.
Questions
- How do I get the GPX file?
- Most fitness apps and watches export one. In Strava, open the activity on the website, click the three dots and choose Export GPX. In Garmin Connect it is under the cog on the activity. Then drop the file into the Journey step here.
- Does it have to be a race?
- No. Any track works: a long walk, a bike tour across a country, a week of sailing. If the watch recorded it, it can be printed; if it did not, draw it along the roads.
- What can it be printed on?
- Paper, framed paper, canvas, framed canvas, aluminium dibond and acrylic, in sizes from A4 to 61 × 91 cm. In the UK there are magnets, coasters and clothing too, and the 2.5D relief print. Or buy the file and print it yourself.
